- Pharmacy - Apoteket is the well run nationwide chemist & the only place you can fill a prescription.

- Immigration - Migrationsverket, the Swedish Migration Board - Find out all you need to know about migrating to this immigrant friendly land.
- Internet- Home/ Internet Cafe - Get connected to the World Wide Web.
- Lagom - If you're planning to live in Sweden you have to know this word!
- Libraries - "Bibliotek", Where are they? In most cases, to borrow a book you need a personnummer.
- Maps - On the top right, under "Sok direkt i kartbilden", you can type in the name of a place (next to "vad") for example a hotel or restaurant, or if you have an address type it next to "var".
- Pay-TV - Guide to what's available through Bredbands Bolaget. Often you can get a great deal by combining TV, Phone & Internet.
- Mobile Phones/ Cheap International Mobile Calls - So many alternatives out there, but try these.
- Politics - Most Swedes are very politically aware, here's the basics.
- Sill - Pickled Herring, every self-respecting Swede has their own recipe for sill.
- Snaps - Not schnapps, skol!
- Supermarket - These guys seem to be everywhere.
- Sweden Headquaters on Squidoo - A good collection of articles about Sweden.
- Swedish For Immigrants - Get your Swedish language & life skills up to scratch on the Swedish Government. Contact your local authority/ kommun to find out where.
- Swedish Social Insurance - If you need assistance these links might help.
- Systembolaget - The state run alcohol supplier. Find your "local", but get it before Saturday afternoon!
- Traditions - This is a land of history & culture, Find out when & why Sweden parties
