Click here to reply.Hi again! If anyone could help me, I trully would appreciate it. I've studied swedish for the past two years, so I understand some swedish, but I have diffculty speaking the language. It's much easier to read swedish than speak and there are a lot of times where I don't understand everything, especially if I'm really nervous. I'd just like to be able to have an interview in english and maybe have my job details described to me in my own language. But, I think I can speak more and more swedish the more I get into my job. I just like to be given an opportunity. So, once again my e-mail adress is : bethyfirefly85@yahoo.com
Feel free to contact me.

Click here to reply.Hi! I am Beth Ann and I have a permanent residence permit to live here in Sweden. I am a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, have passed the Svenska för invåndrare prov, and would like to expand my skills through employment in an office setting. I'm a native english speaker and I would really like a job where I would be able to use my native language. I can read, write and understand clearly spoken swedish, but I still need to improve my accent and have trouble expressing myself in a new language.

I live in Lund and would like to find a job either here in Lund or somewhere nearby. If you can help me or know someone who can please feel free to contact me. My e-mail adress is : bethyfirefly85@yahoo.com

Click here to reply.Hej hej, Jag heter Adam, hur mår du? Jag prata mycket lite Svenska men jag älsker Sverige. Jag bor i Norrköping och söker arbeta.

Hi My names Adam, how are you_ I dont speak much Swedish but i love Sweden!, I live in Norrköping and am looking for a job.

Ive been here just over a month and like most people am finiding it difficult finding work without speaking much Swedish!

I have to wait two more months before the SFI will let me start so its a bit of a catch 22... I need to work so i can get through to the time when i can get the SFI certificate to help me get a Job!

Other things have been easy, i had great reasons to get the "right to stay" and that took a week to get. The tax numbert ook a further week, and that lets you apply for the SFI and get a bank account and in theory work.

If you can help me in anyway, please contact me at clackad@gamil.com

If you look at my website http://adamclack.110mb.com/ you'll see im a pretty cheeful chap and welcome the chance to make some new friends here!

Hope to here from you soon!

Click here to reply.I completed SFI and got the certificate after 8 weeks. Unfortunately I guessed my way through the exam and managed to work out the muliple choice questions. I have the certificate but still can't speak Swedish and don't even understand cashiers when I go to the shop. I don't see how I'm going to find a job unless I study more.....

Click here to reply.Anastasia : I think in Sweden it is safe to say that you have to be able to speak at least Swedish to get a job. Some people find a job without speaking Swedish, but those people do everything in their power to find work by turning to starting a blog, getting involved in embassy or cultural groups and basically getting the word out that you are in town and looking for something to do during the days. Hope this helps.

I don't know Swedish but will it be the obstacle for applying for the job in Sweden? Does anyone find a job in Sweden without Swedish language knowledge?
